Been a while since I posted anything on our blogger. Missed a few birthdays. Sorry about that but kinda think it is hard to keep track sometimes. So Happy belated birthdays to Samuel who turned 11 in Novemeber. Daughter Lisa's birthday was in December. Shawn had a birthday in January and more recent Holly.

We had an interesting weekend with Arizona being in the Super Bowl in Tampa. Last year Arizona hosted the Super Bowl. Would have never crossed my mind the Cards might be in it one year later. Here are a few pics from our weekend.

Uncle Martin Ferm-Grandma's Brother

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2008 02:16 PM, CDT

Today was the day. Martin left peacefully at 11:00 a.m. with Carrie by his side. Jay was nearby, and the rest of us joined in shortly. We are grateful that we were able to all be together for this transition, the six original Rock Island Ferms.

Arrangements for a family dinner on Saturday and a memorial service on Sunday are in the conceptual phase and subject to change. Details will be posted as soon as they are finalized.

Thanks again for your love and support!

The Family News

What's going on?
Craig and Holly will soon be moving into their brand new home in O'Fallon, MO. near St. Louis. We are so happy for them. Can't wait to see it. Look in the links section for updates on the new house. It think Craig told me they have moved 10 times for various reasons since they left the Phoenix area.

David started teaching Special Ed this school year. Amber has a new nursing position at Good Sam in Phoenix.

Lisa will being going full time next month. This is a big change for the family. Shawn is working hard as a corrections officer. Stay safe.

We are proud of all of you !!
